The AxWap Astrology app features a built-in astrological forecasting module, accessible via the main menu under the Analytics submenu. Forecasts are generated based on one of the twelve astrological Houses selected by the user. Unlike other entertainment apps, this application does not use standard toggles for categories such as health, love, or death; instead, the user selects the specific astrological House upon which the calculation is based. To assist with this, the app provides online access to an Astrological Houses reference guide. While this guide offers a general overview, users may certainly have their own interpretations, allowing for flexibility in how astrological forecasts are constructed.
It should be noted that the forecasts will be valid only if your exact birth time has been established; otherwise, the predictions will not be accurate. You can use the Rectification module, also included in the app to determine your exact birth time. Once you have verified that several key life events align with the established birth time, you can expect the forecasts to be accurate as well.
Launch the Forecasts module via the main button (at the bottom): Analytics – Forecasts. The forecast setup window appears first (Figure 1). The results of the astrological forecast are shown in Figure 2.
As shown in Figure 1, the primary settings for generating a forecast are the astrological House (we selected the 5th House - Love and Pleasures) and the search range. The AxWap Astrology app allows you to generate forecasts spanning up to a year. Long-term forecasts serve more as an overview than a source of fine detail, although they do provide a clearer view of trends within the progression and direction charts. In addition to these two main parameters, the following options are available:
Aspect calculation and graph plotting are performed according to the settings in the Objects, Aspects, Orbs window. That is where you configure whether a specific object is included based on the astrological chart type, which aspects apply to it, the orb width for each aspect, and its coefficient. How is the graph calculated?
At a specific discrete point in time, all aspects for a given chart are analyzed, and the strength of each aspect is calculated using the following formula:
Aspect Strength = ((allowed orb - actual orb) / allowed orb) * coefficient;
where the allowed orb and coefficient are defined in the Objects, Aspects, Orbs settings.
All calculated aspect strengths (if there are multiple) are summed up. Tables listing the specific aspects appear below the graph. Their columns are:
As you move along the graph, you can see how the time, the number of aspects, and their orbs change. Once you find a suitable time interval, you can select the specific aspect in the table; clicking on it opens the corresponding astrological chart view.
Since the forecasting module scans time in increments of several hours, once you switch to the chart view, you can use the on-screen arrows to fine-tune the aspect and check planetary statuses.
Tip: The app forces the inclusion of House cusps in aspect calculations, even if they are otherwise disabled. They remain active after the graph is generated so that you can view the details. To disable them, simply swipe down to refresh the screen.
