Amona. Treatment of stuttering.

Hello, my name is Amona. My daughter Polina started stuttering when she was 12, which was caused by the so-called "abduction" - she claimed that she was being abducted by some creatures and it was not a dream. She was very scared and at first she could not say a word, with difficulty, stumbling, she barely uttered even simple phrases with foam at the mouth.

I took my daughter to all sorts of speech therapists, paid them considerable sums, which are quite significant for our budget, but nothing helped. In despair, I turned to psychiatrists for help, after listening to all the stories, they unequivocally pronounced a verdict that these were hallucinogenic visions, although Polina had not experienced anything like this before the "abduction".

The psychiatrist prescribed aminazine, one pill at night. I want to tell you that it is a NIGHTMARE! After the very first appointment, seeing how my Polya was suffering, I threw away these pills and never gave her anything like that again. I began to work hard on my daughter, I tried all sorts of methods, she repeated difficult-to-pronounce phrases for hours, read books out loud with pebbles in her mouth, she began to speak better, but there were practically no significant changes.

On one of the forums I was advised Atarax, Polya took it for 5 months, due to the fact that anxiety became less, speech improved, but there was a constant feeling of depression and drowsiness. After Atarax, I was recommended to give Gliatilin, saying that it invigorates, improves memory and cerebral circulation. Polya drank a course of Gliatilin, after all, she could already read one printed page practically without hesitation, she stumbles mainly on difficult to pronounce phrases like "potassium hexacyanoferrate" or "phenolphthalein".

While rummaging around the net, I accidentally found your program, and you won't believe it, I found it from Yandex images. I had previously been looking for postcards, and purely mechanically, I entered the query "methods for treating stuttering" into the search bar, and saw a screenshot of your program. At first I thought it was some kind of voice recorder, but what does it have to do with stuttering, I thought, and clicked on the picture above which was the inscription "program for treating stuttering."

Without thinking twice, I went to your website, read reviews about it, instructions, downloaded, installed and let Polya practice with it. She figured it out quickly, although she doesn't understand the settings of the lower sliders, do they change the tone? Or the pitch of the voice?

In short, after a month of classes with her, she was reading various textbooks at a level of 200, she could read books out loud for half an hour practically without stumbling, she even developed an accent.

After some time the program stopped working, but for this too, thank you very much! I thank you very much for creating such a program!
