Good day forum members, I want to share with you my experience of working with the speech corrector program - I am 34 years old, I live in Omsk, I started stuttering around the age of 5 as a result, as I understand it, of a strong emotional shock.

As a result, he developed a complex so that, firstly, he considered himself inferior, and secondly, he graduated from school with Cs and was known at school as a person with very modest mental abilities (something like a moron).
Since I am a strong-willed person and thought for a long time that the problem would somehow resolve itself, I started treatment in my second year at the institute. I will explain it in detail in order.
I went to a speech therapist - to a state hospital - two months wasted. The woman, more of a grandmother, told me that she was now preparing a man for some kind of report. I later realized that she was not treating him, but trying to teach him to hide his stuttering by tricks. Six months later I went to a local psychic - he sang beautifully that everything would be fine and in 10 lessons I would forget about stuttering - 500 rubles per lesson - I was working part-time, but in 2000 this was a serious amount for me - in total I went to 5 lessons - the effect was the first 15 minutes after the 2nd and third lessons.

Well, and after that he carried out suggestions that you are not afraid of anything - you speak well, while effectively manipulating antennas or whatever they are called, which kind of spin in your hands. When I did not come to the sixth lesson, he called me and tried to convince me that I had to finish the course, apparently he had already planned some purchase with my money and I did not bring it ...
After the army I read that somewhere hypnosis helped someone, but for some reason it helped for a week. I thought, why not pay a hypnotist once a week and started looking. Apparently at that time in Omsk there were no serious hypnotists and I ended up in the Clinic of Psychic Help.
There the doctor told me that he would do hypnosis with me, but for a separate fee into his pocket. I started paying him, and he started turning on music on the tape recorder and saying phrases to me like everything is fine, you speak smoothly, etc., then he invited me to do some group work - he was having some classes - there were five people in the group (one fell out of love with his wife, a grandmother who lost her grandfather, and other people). In short, what killed me most in this clinic was that the head doctor of the department where I was supposedly being treated stuttered himself. As it turned out, the doctor who was supposedly treating me tried to use Ericksonian hypnosis, which probably only works on people like himself.
Later I went to a private speech therapist - I did exercises like ma-mu-mo, ba-bu-bo, the guys also made serious money on me. I admit there were stages when my hands dropped - I recognized myself as inferior and thought, well, screw it, although I always tried to do various articulatory gymnastics, including Strelnikovskaya's.
At 34, I downloaded the speech corrector program - I practiced for a couple of days and came to the conclusion that it became much easier to speak, I work on a delay of 200 ms, for some reason this speed intuitively seemed more suitable for me. Later I will write about my results, probably in a month or two.
